  2. Update your drivers to resolve any compatibility issues.
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the game.
  4. Verify that your game client is up to date.
  5. Remove game mods and verify the game cache (instruction below):
  6. Go to:

  1. Delete all files in the folders below:

Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods

  1. Then restart the Game

If you're still having issues after reading and attempting the resolutions above, please submit a ticket here with either a DxDiag report or your System Profiler attached.

You can do so with these steps:

For PC, please attach a DxDiag for review. To run a DxDiag report follow the steps below:

- If you are running Windows Vista or higher go to your taskbar.

- Click on, "Start Button".

- Click on, "Run".

- In the pop-up window enter DxDiag and hit ok.

- The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.

- Click on, "Save all information".

- Save As" window should be present.

- Click on, "Save" (The file should be saved to your desktop as DxDiag.txt)

- Exit the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

For MAC use the Apple System Profiler and send us the text file.

- To do that, search for "profiler" using Command-F.

- Run that and then save the txt file and send it to us.

At a bare minimum, please try the troubleshooting steps above. Also, please include the fatal error if possible (its text is automatically copied into your clipboard usually), and what solutions you have already attempted when making your thread to help speed up the process. Thank you!
