Make sure your system is up to date
Running your console on an outdated version of the operating system may cause performance issues.
Verify your game is fully installed
Issues might be caused by the game being launched before it is fully installed. Check your console for any pending or incomplete installations.
Restore licenses (PlayStation)
Restoring licenses can be a helpful first step if you are experiencing the following issues:
- A game has a padlock icon.
- You can't locate a game or add-on.
- A game crashes.
- Live event issues.
- You can’t make a purchase on PlayStation Store.
FOR PlayStation:
- Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Restore Licenses.
- Select Restore.
Reinstall ARK Survival Ascended:
Reinstallation can sometimes solve a lot of problems.
Switch to a wired connection
Wireless connections tend to be difficult to troubleshoot due to potential interference from the environment and other signals. We recommend switching to a wired connection.
